We are a team of specialist Health and Safety Advisors, proudly based in Hamilton, Waikato.

Safety Managed believes safety begins and ends with its people. It is all the 'in-between' that we assist our partners with.

We understand the value of appreciative inquiry, positive reinforcement of good safety behaviour and analysing how work is actually adapted by those undertaking tasks. As partners we aim to bring that knowledge to you.

Kelly Middleton

Founder

Kelly founded Safety Managed (formerly KSM) in 2017 while gaining postgraduate qualifications and industry expertise in the field of health and safety compliance. Kelly enjoys seeing the company grow and staying on the pulse of innovation. Kelly is passionate about facilitating meaningful change for workers and business owners in the Health & Safety space; bringing efficiency and efficacy to the workplace.

Amy Walker

Digital Co-Ordinator 

Amy joined Safety Managed in 2025, she has a creative and pivotal role in the transformation of H&S systems from paper-based, to streamlined digital systems. Amy is across the various types of platforms available and is learning new technology consistently in order to bring these benefits to our clients. Amy and her husband also have a family owned business and she is a mum of 2 daughters. Balancing these significant commitments taught Amy invaluable lessons in time management, resilience, and perseverance.

Rhianon Murray

Originally from Australia, Rhianon moved to her husband’s family farm in New Zealand in 2018. With a strong background in administration, Rhianon feels that being an EA is all about building strong relationships, staying one step ahead, and creating seamless workflows that make a real difference. Rhianon takes pride in being efficient, adaptable, and proactive.
